Diplomat of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Dr. Cowan has an advanced degree in chiropractic orthopedists that focuses on treatment of spinal injuries and extremities.
Lee P. Cowan was born in North Dakota and moved to Orting, Washington with his family in 1970. His decision to become a chiropractor was made when he was injured playing high school football and was treated by a chiropractic physician and was amazed at the effectiveness of his treatment.
Lee P. Cowan completed his undergraduate studies at Green River and Whitman College in Washington State. He then attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon and graduated in 1979. Lee P. Cowan began his chiropractic practice in 1980 and established Rockwood Chiropractic Clinic in 1981. His practice is a general practice of chiropractic with special attention to automobile injuries, sports injuries and degenerative conditions.
When he began practicing chiropractic he continued his post graduate education in orthopedics. He became a Diplomat of Orthopedics with Western States Chiropractic College in 1984 and a Diplomat of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1985. He presently treats his patients with a holistic approach that applies an orthopedic approach.
Lee P. Cowan's purpose as a chiropractic physician is to provide his patients with the best possible healthcare available to them. He believes patients are entitled to care that is necessary to resolve their condition despite doctors' personal priorities. This means that their healthcare is the primary and sole purpose of our clinic and this purpose has lead him to work with physicians and health care professionals from all healing venues.
In his spare time Lee P. Cowan enjoys golfing, volleyball and cooking. He is a member of two separate golf groups and plays year round.
